Why does my fencing keep blowing down?

Fences usually collapse because the posts have rotted through at ground level. If you use cheap 3x3 fence posts they will rot through a lot quicker than the high quality 4x4 posts used by Bamboo Landscaping. Another common cause of broken fences is posts that have not been set deep enough in the ground. We dig own at least 60-70cm and set our posts in concrete for extra stability. The concrete needs to come to just above ground level and slope away from the post, to prevent moisture gathering around the post and rotting it.
