QUEENS PARK GARDEN

Queens Park

This ground floor flat benefitted from a very large garden which the client utilised by having a studio/office built to the rear of it.

There was an existing hardwood deck and storage unit surrounding the modern extension of the house which provides plenty of space for sun loungers or a dining table.

The existing lawn was in poor shape and very uneven so this was stripped and re-laid with new turf. A simple Yorkstone stepping stone path was set between the grey decking and studio to prevent bringing muddy shoes into the studio. The client was keen to have a cottage style of planting to the beds along the length of the garden. We planted a selection of Lupins, Delphiniums, Foxgloves and Hydrangeas, amongst others, that are perfectly suited to this charming style of garden. The planting scheme was designed to provide a long period of bloom to be enjoyed throughout summer.
